Well as title says.
I ve done some searching, but nothing comes up
We all know that BioWare makes Jade Empire for PC after year or so after release for xBox. I dont want to sound like spoiled kid, but i cant afford to buy console just for this game.
It is my kind of game and i want to play it badly....
So, any good news about this ?

i would say eventually it will, but dont expect it to be anything more than a quicky port like stranglehold or something.

My experience with Bioware ports are quite good actually... ( Jade Empire - cant think of something else. It has consolich feeling but still ...)

i think so far the only good 360 port so far to pc has been bioshock? so i wouldnt say i have high hopes that this port will be anything special...

The thing is bioware has been bought by ea-shit so, most likely, there will be a port, ea needs more money badly so they can give it all to charity and they are broke right now, so please buy ea games.

i never said it would be a bad port, simply that the fact ive only seen one GOOD port leads me to believe its unlikely the any special care would be taken with mass effect, beyond simply doing a quick port to cash in on the success of the game on the console. |

Remember SW: KOTOR, one of the best RPG games ever. It was also an Xbox port.

Oh my i didnt know that bioware has been bought by EA....

My guess now is, that it will be ported, but by EA.... /doh

Exactly one year from the xbox release you will see the pc release, they wait so long because the impatient ones can't take it anymore and they buy an xbox360 just for this game so releasing this game right now would hurt the xbox sales by a little that's how they think anyway, microsoft didn't pay the exclusive for nothing.

Yep, noone says that it will come to pc and you noone says that it will not come to pc. That means that pc port is already made, just waiting for exclusive license to run out.

considering KOTOR and jade empire came to the pc, I'm sure mass effect will too.
Also take into consideration that it uses the unreal engine 3, so it's not an engine made specifically for console games (which often results in bad ports, resident evil 4 anyone?)
It should be relatively easy to port and I'm sure it'll run ok too.
I'm just hoping that there'll be some modding capability because that would make the game perfect.
I'm also hoping that just like with Jade Empire, they'll add some bonus stuff to the PC version, like addition quests, items, and stuff like that.
I completed the game twice on the 360 and I really want my friends who do not own a 360 to experience this awesome game asap!

Gears of War.
Personally I found it dull and repetitive, but it seemed to be a decent port if not to my taste.

what, with all those bugs in it? 
dont get me wrong, i realise were just pc gamers, and so not really worth the effort of a decent port, so im not turning this into a pc vs console issue, or even a 'all ports are shit' debate, all i originally said, was dont expect TOO much from the pc version of the game when it DOES get ported.

Agreed. The game itself wasn't exactly.. outstanding, but it was a very good port.
Didn't feel consolish at all.

Agree, but publisher gets no profit with modding capability so i have doubts about this.

i dunno you pc guys are really getting fucked over these days, i used to be one of you but now im a hybrid mutant fucker with an xbox360+wii aswell as the pc. If i hadnt had the xbox360 id be royally pissed about GTA4 unknown rls date for pc.
