Alright guys if you live in United States (or not) and don't have Xbox Live Gold, you can get as many free 48 hour trials until 2009. This is ideal for if you have $0 income like me. The only real cache here is that after 48 hours, you have to create another account on this site to get a second Xbox Live Redeem code. However, signing up takes less than 3 minutes. You dont even need a real e-mail address or username.
**Your gamer profile's selected location has to be located within United States. I have a few other gamer profiles that I created to get content from France and the UK. So basically if youre desperate for Xbox Live Gold, just create a new gamer profile with United States selected as your location.

1. After you have a United States gamer profile created, go here (http://www.keepingittwisted.com/xbox_register.aspx) and sign up. You dont need to enter a real e-mail address or username. Make sure you also put a fake date of birth which is over 13 years of age obviously.
2. After you are done singing up on the first page, it will take you to a 2nd page asking you to enter a code on the top bar.
Enter the following code: AA4XPN3
3. Enter the security code that's displayed on the bottom bar. This can be kind of annoying.
4. After youve entered both codes, the next page should give you a 25 digit Xbox Live Gold redeem code (XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX).
5. In your Xbox 360 Dashboard, goto the Marketplace area and select "Redeem Code" and then enter this 25 digit number with no spaces.

When this code expires after 48 hours from when it was redeemed, you can just repeat the steps to get as many redeem codes as you want. Does it work? yes it does. Ive been playing on Xbox Live last night for the first time in over a year. Sure its a bit tedious but hay its FREE!

Well I have not tried that yet but Il try it now and see what happens.

I dont think it adds 48 to the previous 48 Trial. It gives you free 48 hours from when you redeem the code even if you have 2 redeemed codes at the same time.
Although Im not 100% sure since it doesn't display the end date of the code. It just tells me that it's valid until "02/2008"

Lol didnt realize there was another thread on this. Well it does work like a charm and all the people that complained it wasnt working for them in other countries, just create an additional gamer profile with United States selected as your location.

I like this scheme but sad part is I cant play decently in one game on live. Tried cod4, tdu, gow, pgr4 and in all I ended up coming last or playing terrible. I have never felt this miserable in a long time. I always thought I was a pretty decent gamer considering I finished the SP part of quite a few games, GOW, COD4, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc

I agree COD4 online is hard as hell. Im terrible at it. But its nice to jump into a quick game of multiplayer after trying to beat One Shot One Kill on veteran for hours.

Buy a new console I guess. Get a red ringed system for cheap and fix it.

...and just hope you don't get one of the 10% of ringed consoles which are truly dead.

Thats a relatively low percentage. If you do end up with one thats dead, just put it up on ebay again.

Shit the system is broken. They never send the code. It's been like 4 days and still no code.

Yes they would appear immediately after submitting the code (AA4XPN3) . After the submit code page, the next page would just generate the Xbox Live Redeem code and display it.
