Just got the SwapMagic 3.8 with MaicKeys II for my PS2 Slim but every game i burn doesnt work or work extremely wrong. I used 3 different brands (DVD-R), i use 5 different burning apps, tried several speeds between 4x and 12x (Apps wont let me burn lower than 4x). I even made a fresh windows install on a partition im not using. Tha games that are actually starting either lags/freeze/sound out of synch or crash at the first splash screen. The laser always goes back and forth like he's looking for information and cant find them. But he read and start original games without problems My burner is a LG GSA-H22L, burns X360 games, Wii games, Xbox games, movies without any problems. I use ISOs from real scene release Any help will be much appreciated

Clean the lens ? tweak the pot ? maybe

What do you mean by tweak the pot? The lens is ok since i play original games without any issues

I burn all my ps2 games with DVD Decrypter, never had 1 coaster

After reading slenoj post i told myself what the heck...got a Qtips and clean the lens...and ill be damned, my games work now. Maybe it was dirty and needed to be realign. But now i have another problem, PAL games doesnt work. when teh game start, theres bars in the screen and all distorded...and yes i selected PAL in the boot menu

PAL games work now...i thought i had to select the video mode of the game and not the console. But PAL games seems not centered, i tried MoH Vanguard PAL on NTSC and i dont see my HUD and compass at the bottom and i have a big black bar on top of the screen. Is there way to fix that so the screen is centered?
