Alrite so here is the story.. I live in 2 houses... one has cable.. one has adsl... both diff routers/modems etc obviously. Now at one of my houses my vista machine seems to "lose" internet now and then for no reason.... yet all the other machines in the house which are on XP work perfect 100% That same machine works fine at my other house .. and so do the other computers here.. So what would be causing it ??? and has anyone else had internet drops with vista ??

Yes I used to experience the same thing on a asus mobo with nforce chipset, put xp back on it after that. Educate yourself Give an internet to NFOHump!

Vista bug, should be fixed with SP1....if not just wait till sp2. sp2 will come soon, just like sp1 it leaked out through all the hw vendors. just wait for it to come down the pipeline.
