hi
my console died(yes im one of those first 2005:) )
so now im thinking of either waiting for august for 65 cpu and gpu or buying one of those new ones(65 cpu) right now so i can play.
my question is this,as i am one of the first i have alot of games,i never played online and i dont care about online playing so i never upgraded firmware on my dvd since 3.2 or something.
when i buy new one and flash it with iextreme 1.4(is that the only option or can i use other firmwares?)
i will be stuck with many games that wont load right?

dont bother with ixtreme if you dont care about online play. just get xtreme5.4 or whatever it is

but will it work on that new crap benq drive?
or it doesnt matter what drive it is?

First off the Benq drive is probably the best one out there and secondly there is a non-stealth version for Ixtreme 1.4 so don't worry about about your games compatibility.
