|
 |
Since a few days ago when I log in on Vista there is a program called " mIRC " that always wants to access my Registry and I havent installed " mIRC " ...
I know what Mirc is for program, my friend uses it for chatting and such...
But Ive never used it nor installed it...
Read on Google about " Win32.mIRC-based " malware... But dont know which program to use...
Anyone know which Malware removal program can remove it ???
I see the Icon in Programs in control panel, but it just comes up " cant remove " ...
There is nothing written in the window to read anything just 2 buttons Retry and Cancel...
Any help is great full... Thanks...

Boot in safe mode, the first thing you do is run MSCONFIG and disable anything that looks suspicious in both startup and services. Then restart in safe mode again and manually delete the pos. Removing from Add/Remove can trigger another install, so better remove manually. Then get NOD32 (or a condom) and be safe.

Nice piece of software indeed.
Way better than msconfig (never liked it, because of no info where the process is stored)
