Thanks, I never had a chance to play the Playable Trailer since I don't own a PS4 so this will be the next best thing. The download was surprisingly small too which is a plus for me as my download speeds can be slow at times.

Qimsar's was practically complete. But I would guess that this one is even better, because it makes sense for its creator to try and outdo the other efforts.

The lighting hasn't been replicated well enough. Partly understandable as we are talking about a different engine, but the PC reproduction looks too bright and loses quite a bit of the creepiness of the PS4 version, when compared side by side.
There are other imperfections as well - camera sway is better on PS4, but they are not as significant.

It got some kind of mythical status since it appeared on the PS4 store for free or something (people thought it was a demo for the next Silent Hill game), then it got removed after the whole Kojima/Konami fiasco and the only people who got it are those who downloaded it back then, there's no way of retrieving it now (consoles.. ).
Since it's Kojima stuff, people make all sorts of interpretations about how it's supposed to be a metaphor for his relationship with Konami; and it does appears to have ties with Death Stranding.
Finally, and perhaps more importantly, gameplay-wise, it's supposedly a pretty scary experience and well made.

Yeah it's nuts. Even last year's unreal pt remake was SPOT ON. I did finished that build and it was great

Yeah, it's a glorified atmospheric walking simulator, with a somewhat interesting narration, but it's nothing to write home about either and lasts like what.. 15 minutes or something.
It's full of little interesting details, but it's just a nice little "teaser" - in that, the name is honest..
Hard to argue that nobody would give a damn about this if it weren't for the whole Kojima-wanking..
