So I was looking on ebay cause I'm kinda interested in building a theme set down in my basement but got into lego's site and discovered they got a program for building sets on your computer to which I think they'll let you send the design in and you can buy it.

I've been using http://www.lm-software.com/mlcad/ I don't know how the lego thingie could be better, unless it supports multiple monitors.

I think it's pretty cool for a free piece of software.

My only bother is the variety. They don't have the flowers and stuff like that. The coloring seems like they didnt spend anytime on it at all. Only brown chairs? Brown doesn't look THAT good in a white house lol. then you have some pieces that are in one 4 colors but the particular size you need is only in one color.

Before you download and install MLCad you have to install the LDraw/LEdit package and the part definitions. Your can download the LDraw/LEdit package and the actual library file from http://www.ldraw.org/download/start/win/ .... Install these packages and follow the instructions to create a PARTS.LST file.
So yeah free, I think all the bricks with any possible color. |
sweet thanks. Learning it now and jeezus this thing is in depth lol.
