Description:
Fall of Liberty will take players to new battlegrounds in World War II – ones born from a changed moment in history that led to the Nazi invasion of 1950s America. Presenting this scenario as a powerful and realistically crafted alternate history, Fall of Liberty will deliver an explosive action experience in a world where famous real-world locations appear startlingly different under Nazi occupation.
Features:
* Fall of Liberty changes reality by twisting one historical fact: In 1931, Winston Churchill was hit by a taxi on 5th Avenue in New York. In reality, he survived the accident but walked with a cane for the rest of his life. But what might have followed if Winston Churchill had been killed in the accident? Without his voice to lead a country to war, the events of WWII change dramatically; the Normandy invasion never happens and the UK and all of Europe come under Nazi rule by 1945.
* Building on the successful conquest of Europe, Nazi intelligence develops superior weapons and vehicles so that on December 7, 1951 they are able to launch an all out surprise attack on America – beginning with a mass invasion of New York.
* Unprepared, the invasion stuns America and plunges much of the country into fearsome Nazi occupation. In Washington, the Swastika flies from The White House, and in a show of force to end rebellion, a nuclear attack on Manhattan is being planned. The odds are overwhelming, the reality of the situation shocking, but for players, it’s time to join the resistance and fight a guerrilla war in the newly occupied territories.

lol
Quote: | ="After playing the awful demo, the full game is a complete improvement in every way. Graphics actually look good now, gameplay is much better and the A.I while dumb early in the game, really make things tough after chapter 2.
This game has the most refreshing levels in any WW2 game in ages. Overall, while not a AAA title is still a lot fun and worth picking up." |

+1
Regarding the full product:
Unless they changed the whole thing, from A to Z, no hope for this one.
Damn it , it seems like most of the games these days are measured between being totaly crappy to mediocrity.

Fuel of War is an ok game, nothing more. it's just that these days are dry...
Think about Fuel getting released on October, or April, among so many great AAA titles, no one would even look at it.
It's like when you're in jail every girl looks hot all of a sudden, but it doesn't mean she really is.

you got a point there, and since I'm an Fps junky I sure hope Turning.p full product is nothing like the demo - which looks and plays like a crappy old generation game.

been playing awhile, another mindless shooting game, yawn - has its moments - nothing special - save for a rainy day. Sure most of these fps are game are made for an american culture and the thing is only a few turn out to be great.
Roll on R6V 2

Ok so Ive been playing this a couple of hours now and I can blatantly see why people bash the game. Its nothing special and could certainly have been something better. Visually the game is more an Xbox1 title and not at all comparable with any next gen shooters Ive ever played. The weapons are disappointing and the sound effects annoying especially on the turret emplacement weapons. AI is not that intelligent either and the animation on the npc's is pretty poor I have to say, as are the models themselves. Its very rare that I have any problems with responsiveness but several times I had issues with the controls not doing what I wanted! Despite all this its quite fun to play. I like the bomb setting procedures and the melee grapple moves. Taking an enemy hostage is particularly enjoyable. The game is seriously liacking any sort of polish and feels somewhat unfinished. I certainly expected more from this title but it ultimately fails to deliver. If Id bought this I would be rather disappointed and would trade it shortly after paying for it! Id rate the game a generous 6 out of 10.
Codemasters should be ashamed to have their name on this.

short version: this game is actually good if you don't look at the bad things about it.
which... is true for all games.
