Was driving down the main road of my town, see my friend's car 3 cars up, and I recognize his afro in the driver's seat. Next thing you know some fucking truck driver who was driving parallel to him just careens into his car, for no fucking reason. Anyways, he smashed up my friend in the drivers seat, and both cars grind to a halt. Then I see this idiot ass truck driver try to pull out and make a run for it, so I block him with my car, get out of my car and start dialing the phone for 911 and yelling my ass off at this guy to get his ass out of the fucking truck. In hindsight, that was one of the stupidest things I could've done (I mean, you don't block a truck with a car, and you don't confront a guy who knows he may get up to 20 years for hit and run), but something just snapped in me when I saw that fucker try to drive away after what he did to my friend. I mean, me and Phil go waaaay back to 6th grade, and still see each other all the time go out to lunch and shit...
There were two cop cars sitting around, as soon as they saw the confrontation they zipped out and started screaming at me and the truck driver to get down on the ground(the guy was getting out of his truck). They didn't cuff me though, just took a statement and told me what an idiot I was. One of the cops drove my friend to the hospital, and left him there 'til his parents came and sort out all the insurance crap. Turns out in America you can't even get stitches without insurance  Was on the phone with him, and turns out all he has is a nasty cut on his hand and a bad shock. Knock on wood for that, especially after you see what's left of his car.
What pisses me off the most about the entire story is that the truck driver was some illegal Mexican fuck, and drunk to boot. I mean, alright, you're illegal fine, but you don't get drunk at 12 fucking am and then sit behind a wheel when you know you don't even have a fucking driver's license for a truck and can't drive for shit. So many fucking idiots like these in California... MAKES ME WANNA SCREAM SOMETIMES
Now I have to go back to the station again, give a statement or some shit.... zzzzz

I have high respect for you for not doing what I would have done, Ive always been instant rage aggressive to anything like that, as in if it where my friend I woulda just gone into Hulk mode and dragged that fucker out of his truck myself before I called the police. I know that is stupid since he could probably have a gun, but still like you said in those situations you dont think straight and go mostly on instinct (which mine have always been based on you hurt a friend or family I will go ape shit!!)
Hope that stupid fuck gets a hard hammer from the judge.
