Croatian student created vLite utility that enables users to trim Vista to a tenth of its normal size by ditching unwanted parts

Sounds interesting. I might start to use Vista more than once a year because of this. Laughing

Old news mate. Wink Vlite is the vista counterpart for the well-know Nlite and it is out for more than a year.

I wasn't aware of this. I must make it an effort to keep up-to-date on 3rd party apps for OS' more often Very Happy

I also thought about slacking down my VM-Installation of Vista with VLite. The thing is that once you sized down your Vista with this method, SP1 won't install anymore because of missing components. So I'm gonna wait till the final version of SP1 is out, install it and then trim.
