Yeah.. was wondering that too. Btw, its not a port of the ps2. Thats the only saving grace.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

No! I got the game for my kid and he was bored with it in no time.
No widescreen support. Max resolution is 1024x768. I can't turn down the brightness enough...it all looks washed out and needs contrast.
Bad console port of a typical movie tie in game.

agreed, i used 1280x1024.
game is not that bad , only thing made me mad is the cut scene's..you can't skip them so if you failed , you have to watch it over and over, but..5 hours and the game finished..so..the suffering not that long

Great game and looks very good, playing at 1680x1050 with 4xMSAA. Any way to unlock framerate? It seems to be locked at 30.

is this fixable other then re-downloading the 8gb iso again? the Group3.cab is 1.4Gb alone!! help please.

its nothing to do with daemon tools. as it says the .cab file is corrupt.

i re-downloaded the game again, installed after mounting the iso and it worked fine.
anyone know how to get this dvd9 to dvd5? i tried the fileforums method of removing the languages from the iso (using ultra iso), turned to 3.8GB and thats when i get the Group3.cab error is corrupt message.. so looks like it wasnt the original download either!

DL discs cost 4x+ the amount of single layer, that's the main reason.

Anyone know how to change to english? Automatically made the game swedish, and I can't stand dubbed voices.
And the graphics are messed up. Black is grey, no matter how dark I make it.

@wingfan: REDOWNLOAD THE REAL Release, not a webshit iso and you have no problems.
And today nobody really needs RiPS, only if the game is crap and you don't want to waste your traffic and time and the demo is also large.
