What's the avg salary in the US? I want to compare the ratio between ticket/salary in US and here in IL.

ooo, well, most retail places pay the min wage which is going up to 7.75 very soon. Depending on the factory work, 8-9 an hour. The company I work for I make 11 an hour which is kind of hard to get unless you have skills of some sort. But in average I would say 8-9 an hour.

Kids who just start working out of highschool or something won't usually see anything above 9.

mostly 8 hours a day 5 days a week, so 40 hours a week usually. Most factories are big on overtime so that's about 1 day of time and a half. So me personally I make roughly 400 a week.
