|
 |
Hi,
I have someone who is going to mod my wii. he charges the same for the wiikey and the wiinja deluxe - which should I choose?
Are their pro's and con's to both? do they both run all the games?
which is more actively supported?
Thanks!

you are wrong
get yaosm. It costs you about 2 € for the chip. supports everything possible on the wii atm. including gc+audiofix, brawl, updates via dvd.
only problem: psx-scene is down atm :/

We are not sure if this was a case of corrput MySQL or if we were hacked. Regardless, all of the data in PSX-SCENE's six year existence is now lost. Words cannot describe what we are feeling right now.
We are working hard to get the site back online as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we will be starting with an almost entirely clean slate. We should be able to recover the user data but that's about it.
We appreciate everything you, our users, have done over the last six years. We hope this site is as important to you as it is to us. We will not give up! Our plan is to re-open the site in the next day or so but, unfortunately, you will be looking at a mostly empty forum where one of the greatest resources for console hacking information on the internet once stood. It is our sincere hope that, once the site is re-opened, you will continue to visit and help re-build PSX-SCENE & WiiNewz to their former glory.

Thats right - and you never know how support will be in the future.
Ask your dealer about yaosm. The chip is just a standard pic you can buy in every bigger shop for electronic components or order online.
The Installation is exactly the same as wiikey/wiinja.
Pic costs only some cent, and yaosm (y.et a.nother o.pen s.ource m.odchip - if I remember correctly) has by far the best support/most features of all modchips out there. It is upgradable via DVD and this should even work, if ninty finds a way to prevent upgrading the usual way - in other words: if wiikey and all the other chips would be defeated by nintendo, yaosm would be the only one that would most likely still work (or at least could be upgraded)
