Hey there, i'm looking to put my screen on the chimney breast part of my wall, i have a LCD 42 inch LG, i'm looking for stability and a good price, also i would much prefer it to be bracketed, not an armed wallmount, i live in the UK so if anyone know's a good website for this i would be really appreciative,
Also must have enough space between the bracket and back of the screen to fit Scart Lead's in the back of the screen,
Thank you for any help.

Look at the Dixons or Curry's website. They have a link to the people they use. I was looking to mount a 50" LCD in the bedroom. And that sounds so wrong.

That mount looks as flimsy as hell. No way would I trust putting a £900 TV on that.

Depends on the thickness of the frame in the stud walling.
How about this for an idea. Ikea sell these great poles that can be converted to take a bracket. The added bonus is that you can feed the wires through the pole into the TV.
I'll find the webpage if I can when I get back from the office. I think it looks really nice.

If you want the best there is look for the B-Tech 8000 with the B-Tech 8500 , 1 is the wall bracket and the other is the plasma bracket.
These are used by the profesionals to mount plasmas/lcds in shops and clubs etc, i know this as my mate is a fitter and he gave me a set of those for my tv but mine needed a diff type of bracket so ive never used it.

I've mounted 2 tele's with boxstandards cheapies from ebay ( £20 - 30 delivered ) . one 50" , one 42" . Both going strong after a year ( One into brick and one into a stud )
When you look in the likes of costco or anywhere else its seems the brackets that go for £100+ are usually the ones you get for £30 delivered from ebay , The one van.helsing posted is basically the generic form they take

All those mounts will work if you have regular wood studs. The first one may look flimsy but from a structural standpoint, it will be just fine if mounting with 6 bolts. You get what you pay for, but you TV will be held fine with any of those mounts.
Now if you have metal studs, your in for the headache i had with my new house. I had to completely remove the wall to reinforce for my OMNI (Kick ass mount, but $800) mount. I wired everything in the wall anyways, which you should look into doing (Wires look like ass hanging from a flat panel). MY TV just floats on the wall, no wires to be seen.
Here is my mount (I know you don't want a cantilever, i didn't either at first, but there amazing)
