I just recently picked up another xbox with a benq drive and flashed it with the latest firmware, i have not had a flashed box in a while. but what is the general consensus on getting banned, from what i heard some ppl banned some not curious as too how many are actually banned, i have modded boxes twice before and i have not been banned. does playing the game online before street date increase your chances, what is the deal on this.

I don't think so, haven't hooked mine up since modding.

Banned in 1st wave, wasn't using stealth
still online on second box, iextreme 1.2c check every release with mulleter, have been online before street date many times
No advertising.

Nope, but my xbox isn't modded.
Play on Live about 75% of the time I'm on the xbox, so no point in risking it getting banned.

why would u post that u haven't been banned yet when your console is not even patch, unless u have fan mode

What do you mean how i managed to save games? You mean like where i saved my downloaded demos or like save games when im playing a game? Demos were saved on a harddrive while i was still unbanned. Saving in game does not require live, i just sign in with my account and im off, im just offline.

Yeah i dont know any games where you have to be online to save. Maybe we misunderstood his question, im still not sure what he was asking.

That is the only reason i haven't gone online with mine yet. I just hope i can get in there long enough for the dlc and maybe some multi. Otherwise, I'm happy just playing sp/systemlink.

Uf...so on what I must be very careful when I get my X360? I really don't want to be banned in a week after get it.

I just buy my games to avoid a ban, costs alot but I find I have more patience with games that I buy. Plus, I can always sell them and get about 65% back, which is fine by me.

I've been using mine since I got it almost two years ago. Been connected to Live since the beginning and never been banned. Have played both originals and copies online as well, using both the old firmware (when it was still relevant) and now iextreme...i'm sure i'll get banned eventually, but I hope it's not before GTA4 DLC...that would suck hard

360 is modded but ive never hooked up. Never felt the need.. To be honest even if my box was 100% legit I cant see me wanting to go on live.. except maybe for updates and demos
