this is probably most durable controller/gamepad i had so far, it survived for 2 years already [considering i was playing constantly in the past, not much time right now] and only left stick is a bit loose

Actually, you just reminded me. I'm talking crap. My little girl threw one clear across the room in a temper tzantrum and it stopped working but that's to be expected. MS replaced it for free though so it's all good.

PS3 controller's weight is amazing IMO. But I just don't like the layout. The sticks on the PS3 controller feel strange.

Actually it comes broken out of the box.

Yes I´m talking about the d-pad. Too bad, otherwise the controller is really, really good.

One wireless and one wired. The wireless came with the 360, it's got great range and sensitivity for a wireless controller and the way the headset works perfectly even 5m from the console is great.

I bought the Microsoft battery pack but I hated having to charge it up all the time, so I just bought a wired and use that as my primary controller.

The weight and feel is just right, I like a hefty controller that doesn't feel delicate and force feedback is a must. The PS3 controller is OK, it's a shame they sacrificed vibrations for the almost useless Sixaxis feature. It's obvious developers include Sixaxis functionality just to placate Sony. It's too light for me too.

Theres nothing particularly wrong with it though, it's certainly not something that would stop me getting a PS3 when the time is right.

Haha what?

In games where one have to use precise movements the d-pad is crap.

Try doing magic in C:SOTN for example. It can be done, but t´s still a pain in the ass.
