“First and foremost, with the Vita version, we wanted to quickly release the PS4 and Xbox One HD version overseas, so we really prioritized optimizing it for those platforms. In terms of the PC version, it’s still up for discussion. It is a possibility, but it’s up for discussion. And it’s running it on the PC right now anyway, so…”
Seems to be a new trend since the new consoles are nothing more then glorified PCs under the hood it's easy to make a Pc version and release it on steam for some qick bucks.
lol Saqure trolling on this one? every company pretty much admitted their games are running on PC,the fact they said it's has higher possibility then Vita is something.
Saqure did said they want to bring the series to PC and did bring FF3...
Saqure are "trolls" as much Kojima Productions with FP and GZ,which was "considered" as well but was never promised they will bring it until recent weeks.
I guess that the hate here his because their controversial decision with Tomb Raider .

think it's more because it's the same argument they used on FFXIII. And it seems they're pulling the same shit with Type-0 and FFXV.
Tabata never expected his game to be so desired by foreign audiences.
“I was surprised and I am continuously surprised by the reactions of the Western audience.” But he was even more amazed by the reaction he received when it was announced he was directing Final Fantasy XV. “I got comments that said 'you're going at it in the wrong order' so I was surprised about how passionate people were about having Type-0 come to Western audiences.”
Will they EVER learn? I'm really tired of this "there's no audience for our games, you baka gaijin!" outdated stupidity. Stop being surprised when Western gamers want RPGs, Japan!
So let me get this straight. It's developed on a PC and ported to a console, which in turn is ported to a PC?
Well not this one, Type-0 was made "on" a PC but for PSP (not ported to PSP but made for) and the new HD remaster seems like it's being made for XBONE/PS4. What you're thinking of is XIII, which was made on/for PC and then ported to consoles and the PC version unreleased. Many are rumouring that the upcoming PC version of XIII will be the original they made back in 2009, not just directly ported from PS3/360 which wouldn't make sense.
Exactly. Every game is "made" on a pc, in the sense that design, scripting and modeling tools obviously are used on a pc. This doesn't mean the engine is made to RUN THE GAME on a pc. It's two different things.
I know nothing about this Type-0, is it any good? After the abomination that was 13 I have lost all hope in a good FF game to be honest.

It's ok the missions can get a bit repetitive, and you fight the same enemys over and over again, the story lacks a bit in focus ( to be expected with such a huge cast of protagonists but still) and i didn't really like any of the characters.
I liked it well enough simply cause the combat is fun and every team member plays differently.
I haven't played enough of it to form an opinion, sorry. It looks fun but it also looks very not Final Fantasy, definitely stuck firmly in the spinoff territory.
Significant upgrade, as expected, though the PSP comparisons are too dark and aren't like that in-game. You can beautify the PSP version by playing through PPSSPP but yeah, the total remake with all new assets, models, lighting? That's all on Type-0 HD. Hopefully it comes to PC
A PC version of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has been listed by Amazon.fr. The online shopping website is indicating a release date set for the 25th of March. It also posted Windows 7 and Windows 8 as the supported platforms while mentioning Koch Media as the distributor. The same company partnered with Square Enix in the past for the European releases of Lara Croft And The Temple of Osiris, Murdered: Soul Suspect as well as the two Kingdom Hearts remix collections.
Square Enix has not yet confirmed a PC release for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster. The collection came out for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita last year on March 18. The upcoming PS4 version, which comes with even better graphics as well as the ability to switch between the old and new background music, is launching on the 12th of May. You can preorder the U.S. release of the PlayStation 4 port with this link on Amazon.com.

Probably means we'll get the PS3 version but it should still be a nice game although lacking a few enhancements.
