Ok, this is like the the last watch movie thread, but for games.
Play a game, all the way through (complete it) and then rate it here (add comments if you want).
But you have to play the whole game, not just 2 levels and then give it a rating of 0 you know?
EDIT
Medal of Honour: Airbourne 7/10

The Political Machine: 4/10
Works, but only on the first couple of repetitions. Pretty vacuous classic gameboard style of play. Hope they rework the (2008) sequel into having more substance.
Audiosurf: 8/10
Seems to be a game you either love or hate. I personally can't get enough of it. Lets you experience and enjoy your music on another level. Would perhaps work better as a hand-held game you could pick up casually, but that doesn't stop it from being a game you play additively non-stop (whether to find a high score or to top the last 'rollercoaster ride')

That's a tough one for me, to pick a game I have finished. I'm with Ispep: Audiosurf. I would rate it 8/10 but because its price it's too low I'll put a good 9/10. What you need is at least a certain love for music.

Viking (360): 8/10
was a vey nice hack and slash game with some epic battles.
Crysis: 8/10
had some nice action. but overall it was just a generic shooter for me.

F.E.A.R. - 9/10
I first played this on my old system with a DX8 card, and couldn`t understand what all the fuss was about.
I`ve just finished it on my new system and now I can finally enjoy the brutal firefights everyone was banging on about.
Excellent game, now I`ve just started Extraction Point.

I played (and still play) Guild Wars, but you can't really complete it so...
As for single player games, I played The Witcher back when it came out, it was a 9/10, the combat could have been a bit more challenging.
I recently replayed Freespace II as well with a few mods that improve effects and models. It's still a 10/10.
That's about it, not much games today that interest me that much, end even less that can impress me in any way.

Evil Genius
7/10
An amazing potential made into a rather bland game. Same as Elixir's other game, Republic: The Revolution.

Don't ruin your pleasure by playing the expansion packs. They are just repetitive shit.

When he says 'complete' I'm sure he doesn't mean you absolutely must need to see an ending credits sequence he just asks you've played a relatively good amount of what's on offer so that your opinion is better formed and not just a knee-jerk reaction to the first few levels (etc).

I`m actually quite enjoying Extraction Point at the minute (in the subway), and I know none of it is going to be considered by the sequel, but I`m still enjoying the combat.

i havent played pc games for ages, only games on my psp.
but last games i did play on my pc
cod4: 8.5/10
witcher 9/10
on psp:
god of whore: 7/10
xenogears 2/10... yeah you heard me, a 2, its a piece of shit with an interesting story thats obscured by a very shitty game with poor design choices and dialogue written by a fucking 11 year old. combat wasnt bad... id bump up the score to a 4/10 because of the combat... the only reason i dont, is because i cant get the fucking images out of my head of all the shitty characters and the conversations in the game:
"together we must fight these evil bad people"
"but i dont want to fight"
"we must"
"i dont think its right to hurt others"
"but we must save the universe"
"oh ok, then i will fight"
"yes together we can win"
"right, lets do this thing."
not a direct quote, but rather an example of the kind of shit you need to wade through... yes... it IS THAT BAD.

Finished off Mass Effect again, it's like a good movie with all the fucking dialogue, not very instant-replay-friendly but if you let it sit for a month or two it's brilliant. 10/10
