Did this movie scare you?

it scared me, I watched it at about the age of 5 and have had atleast one nightmare a year ever since Sad I fucking hate Tim Curry. If I ever meet him i'm going to punch him as hard as I can Sad i'm also going to punch Deelix because I can.

The movie scared the fuck out of me... untill they ruined it by bringing in that giant spider. I just sat there thinking "wtf?"

Oh and posting pictures is pointless... unless he's moving and there's sound Sad

The book should be quite satisfying Evil or Very Mad

I simply avoided it when I was younger, and recently I saw it for the first time. Quite scary even with the cheap ass effects (yea the spider Laughing)

I'm thinking about buying the book. I heard it's alot different than the movie Smile the girl has sexx with them all because she thinks it will make them stronger (really she's just a desperate whore)

While I haven't read it in a long time, I remember the book being infinitely better.

Like all book to movie conversions. Duh.

Books > Movies.

I know a lot of peepz which cannot look at a clown and it's all because of IT, sadly they got traumatized by that movie, while I enjoyed it very much (and I'm not a psycho).

I watched this when I was a kid and it freaked me out. Hopefully, the remake will do the original justice

Haha i just read 25 may and thought it was a couple of days old, missed the 06 Wink

And yeah as most people this scared the shit outta me when i was a kid, was really scared of doing anything involving waterpipes etc for a while afterwards. I dont think i ever got to the spider part back then cause i was too scaerd Smile

Then i rewatched it, actually only a few months ago, and well the spider really ruins it, but what can you expect it's quite old.

aye, I second that

But most books are better than movies. Right now Im trying to find Solaris by Stanislav Lem.
The movie didnt go into enough detail for me

The books are excellent - the movie was crap. They took away most of the stuff I liked with the book.

I can't get into Steven Kings books. Just don't like his writing style. In my opinion James Herbert and Shaun Hutson are much better horror writers.
