While I haven't read it in a long time, I remember the book being infinitely better.
Like all book to movie conversions. Duh.

I know a lot of peepz which cannot look at a clown and it's all because of IT, sadly they got traumatized by that movie, while I enjoyed it very much (and I'm not a psycho).

I watched this when I was a kid and it freaked me out. Hopefully, the remake will do the original justice

Haha i just read 25 may and thought it was a couple of days old, missed the 06
And yeah as most people this scared the shit outta me when i was a kid, was really scared of doing anything involving waterpipes etc for a while afterwards. I dont think i ever got to the spider part back then cause i was too scaerd
Then i rewatched it, actually only a few months ago, and well the spider really ruins it, but what can you expect it's quite old.

aye, I second that
But most books are better than movies. Right now Im trying to find Solaris by Stanislav Lem.
The movie didnt go into enough detail for me

The books are excellent - the movie was crap. They took away most of the stuff I liked with the book.
