Can it be that becouse of a poorly hacked 360 Only original PAL games work and burned games dosent?

Yes. It sounds like the firmware didn't actually get flashed. Unless your burn is bad or you are playing a region locked game from a different region. 1.) get a pal game 2.) make sure it works on a modded xbox 3.) try it on yours. if it fails, you have orig firmware. and another question: Can it be that because of a poorly hacked 360 Original PAL games work & burned games give the wrong region error?

Probably it's just the wrong region. From what i know there are 3 categories of the firmware hack. 1.) successful 2.) didn't happen at all 3.) bricked BTW what release is giving you the wrong region error? Did you check www.abgx.net to verify it's the right region or region free? Dark Sector (c) Digital Extremes FULLDVD PAL ALLSTARS it's quite odd this release gives me the wrong region error because an original NBA 2K8 PAL made in EU works just fine can you think of the reason?

No I can't. I would check the disc with xdvdmulleter. Just to verify it's a good disc / labeled properly.

Edit:

Did you buy your console from a store or ebay? Is there any chance your console isn't actually pal and the other game is just region free? If the mod was bad i don't think it would say bad region - i think it would say something like cannot read disc.

if it hasnt been modded i think a backup displays, the please put this game in a xbox 360 console video ( i seem to remember it doing that on mine before i modded it). maybe his is a australian pal console rather than a eu one? The night is dark and the road is long. Come on dead men, return to your homes.
