i dont know if youre good with soldner but lattest version (3rd Generation) of the Wii needs 30 Micro-Soldner for the chip. and the version before is a bit less. So basicly the first Wii generation are the easiest to mod.
You use nomal DVD-R media and burn the ISO at 3x to be sure
There might be a soft mod coming on with an exploit from a save game but i wont hold my breath for that

The latest chip (Argon) can do latest wii's with 13 wires for the basic install.
Still very difficult as 11 of them are to ic (chip) legs.. so practise a lot before attempting, as these points are tiny, and don't let the install pics fool you, the real deal is much smaller than theymight make you think.

Solderless solution?? all I Seen was a clip that you still had to solder the chip to it. Also if it's anything like the Matrix modschip for Xbox original it scratched and ruined xbox motherboards it wasnt reliable. But im interested in knowing more about it, could you explain?

The chip does need to be soldered onto the clip but as per the above site, you can buy it already soldered. Then all you do is open your Wii & push the clip over the D2C chip then put your wii back together again.

Its £50 which is about $90, i'm not aware of any US sites as I live in the UK.
It would play all Wii games perfectly.
