few days ago (maybe week or 2),this game came out :"Knights Of Honor"
now,the question: is this game like the old "art of war" gaming style?

and about the recommandation:"can you name games in the spirit of the old "art of war" but with modern graphics and as simple as art of war was?

So, it's more like 4-5 years....I safely assume that we are talking about the same game. I think i've seen a Prophet release a few days ago.

lol...forget about this game (4-5 or 8 or even 10) and lets focus at the more important stuff of the thread:

do you remember the old game from the late 1980's art of war?
the game was kind of tactic turn based while you were general with army units and you could control them on the map and sent them against the enemy units (defend castle or take over the control on the enemy castle or captured erea;s on the map).

now , this was tones of fun and very simple, just command the units and watch the fireworks without any complications of many today's games and i am sure some of you can point at similar games from the last few years.

Nope, because except the overcomplicated paradox games, not much happening in the area. The genre joined the dead genres....

The game is very simple for the genre, you shiould still give it a try.

it basically plays out as a tad bit more complex version of rome total war's world map part of the game.

even if you are not good at the genre, you won't be overwhelmed by this game.

I played the heck out of it when it was released in 2005. I would concur that it's pretty fun. Unfortunately, there was never a talk re: a sequel.
