Yes, Battle Of Britain will have a brand new engine...look for the requirements to shoot way up though.

Trinya what you said makes no sense at all. Il2 which came from the same dev, you could go much much higher, and in this game only 500? 500 is nothing for a plane...I think your wrong, or maybe it's some sort of a buy but it makes no sense.

There is no invisible wall. You can go well above 500 metres.

How hardcore a flightsim is this? Is this one of the type of sims where if you don't have a joystick/rudder pedals you shouldn't even bother cause you won't be able to get the plane off the ground? Or one where joysticks HELP..but it is controllable decently with the keyboard? I'm an oldschool flight simmer..used to flying with JUST keyboard Razz No way in hell am I gonna dish out $200-300 on a metal stick with a few buttons manufactured in taiwan for $15 that they resell for near half a grand Razz

Their website has such a shitty layout, they don't even list the recommended specs anywhere (had to go to a third party site to find out).

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

IMHO it's the most realistic flight sim out there. period.
I wouldn't even attempt dogfighting with a keyboard. get
yourself a $50 gamepad with throttle contol, and make sure not
to pass this game. its really the shit.

A gamepad? What is this console blasphemy you speak of ?! jk.

Thanks for the info though..looks like Ill be skippin, even though the game does seem very nice. I don't have the patience to relearn all those flight controls/manuevers and re-remember a keyboard worth of hotkeys , or piss away cash on a gamepad heh.

Hope those that do play it enjoy it though Very Happy
