My XBOX360 won't get an IP address and I can't access live. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do here? (Both computers are running XP Pro SP2, btw).

A. I will not spend a shitload on that fuckin' wifi adapter.
B. It used to work for me as well on Vista, but it's no longer the case on XP and I can't revert to Vista right now.

Now, as for the internet connection sharing, I don't have it on the wifi connection. Perhaps because it's a dynamic piece? I'm really losing my mind over here...

Well, I fixed it.

I managed to enable ICS and I restored the network settings on the xbox to factory defaults.
