just put together my gf's computer and now it sucks shit cause I can't get it to post.
Asus M2N-SLI
AMD AM2 X2 6000+
BFG GS Series 650watt PSU
2x1024 corsair ddr2 (forgot which speeds)
and a 7900GS KO
Everything starts up fine. But can't seem to get any video. I know the video card is fine cause I just took it out of my computer. Asus thought it might be my memory sticks being bad but both of them in all slots doesn't do anything.
Basically the video card powers on, fan does the normal start up woosh, then it dies down then kicks up twice, dies down, kicks up twice again etc.
Will be RMA'ing the motherboard and memory but thought I would post here and see if I could get a quick solution or idea. I tried using the system speaker but it won't beep

Yeah, that's problem I had a few days ago. First thing to do is remove the board from the case (that was my problem), then remove everything but CPU and the fan for the CPU. Then start it outside of the board and see what error code it gives you. It should beep that it has no memory (if the board is fine).
