Everytime i can log into STEAM account no worries. when i eneter a server it dls all the adminmods and mp3's ETC....once i enter game in server online my network gets shut down.....this might get complicated with my network.

I am running vista 64bit X86 ultimate

Network firewalls are off using symantec 64BIT corp edition

Desktop>ethernet>Laptop (XP Pro firewall also off)> wireless internet to uknown neighbor router. ( unsecured wireless network, saves money you know, got 2 kids)

i am basicaly using the laptop as a shared wireless internet connection through windows.

anyways any ideas on why it goes down please help...it runs battlefield 2 Flawless! i dunno man, i can surf the web and DL huge files on THEPIRATEBAY.ORG....it just baffles me.

Maybe the person you're leeching internet from is blocking some ports that are needed for cs:s? Try to play cs 1.6 and see if you can do that.

You can access his router and change and save the settings ... if you need to foward ports.

Yeah, that's also possible if he doesn't have a password to login or just the standard password.
