Hey guys i've encounter a problem when in the options of the game. I am unable to enable the x-box 360 controller from within the options. No idea why but I have the wirless version. Anyone know which or where the config file is so that I can manualy fix this or anyone have a fix to do it in game. Any help here is appreciated.

Theres very few games that the wireless one actually works for. You can try the xpadder program located in the gamepad thread in my signature. It maps keyboard/mouse movements to your gamepad.

Same here, no way to activate the 360 controller. Same when patched to 1.0.1

All games I played so far worked flawlessly except this one. I even use a Xbox 360 wireless guitar with the PC version of guitar hero, using the M$ usb wireless hub. I bough the application Pinnacle game profiler, witch works great and let you use your controller as if it was your mouse, keyboard, joystick or whatever. But it's a pain to customize and it crashes when my controller go iddle in Vista! Life suck!

I' am encountering big frame drops!

The patch is installed, R6 Vegas 1 works fine.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Confused Yes... Vegas 2 works much better and much smoother than the first game. Neutral

Well, nothing special, but nothing bad either. 7600GT should be able to handle Vegas 2 at 800x600 or 1024x768 (especially if it handles Vegas 1). How does your system run other games (like UT3, GoW, BioShock, Stranglehold, etc)? The build of Vegas 2 seems to be similar to the newer games that are using UE3, hence the much improved performance (on our PCs) over Vegas 1, which was a very outdated build (and Ubi didn't know how to use it well).

Last year when i played Vegas 1 i had only 1 GB ram and it worked well. Other games are working fine.

I gonna download new drivers, maybe this solves my problem.

What kind of framerate drops do you experience? Are they one-two second dips at random places with no apparent reason, or is it just low, but consistent, framerate?

Well it's going smooth and then the frame rate drops suddenly, it's not like lag in online games , it just slows down for 5 sec.

Gonna try tomorrow after work with new drivers.

That's the same problem that the first game had with the majority of users. Strange.

I lowered res and details but still the same frame rate drops, but not so frequent as before.
