Ok, so it turns out that keyboards don't like being put in the shower and left overnight.. Still, I now need a new one and I can't decide on what to buy. The one I have now is laptop style which I would like to stick with and lacks any fancy features other than volume buttons/mute button.

I was thinking about grabbing the Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 but I don't know how it will perform while gaming :\.. Any thoughts? Ideally I'd like one I can pick up locally as not being able to use my main machine for any longer may make me go insane..

I'm using this and it think its way overpriced considering this stupid keyboard. I like the mouse, though.

For the keyboard those logitech people thought they could add this cool pseudotouchpad-thing on the left with which you can control the controll the volume by moving your fingers over it. Sad, though, that it doesn't work to well here. And i'm not too fond of drivers for mice and keyboards, which is why my keyboard display is rendered useless, but still sucking battery D:
And the most ridiculous thing about it, is the "volume"-bar it displays when using the volume-control. It is a bar, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the actual volume setting of your OS, not even with the drivers. Its just an indicator for wether you turn it up or down... but what do i need that for?

I went and grabbed the Wireless Desktop 7000 tonight as I couldn't live without my main machine for more than a day Wink! I'm still getting used to it as its smaller and curved, but I have small hands and like the curve, so its just a case of remembering that its there now Wink!

The mouse feels nice, although not as nice as previous MS designs, the scroll wheel / middle mouse button is VERY stiff.. but I assume it will loosen overtime. Aside from that I really like it! The keyboard has maybe a few too many buttons, but they can all be changed to do anything so when I get time I'll have a play around Very Happy
