Hello. I am trying to watch the NHL playoff games at work on www.cbc.ca. Some of my colleagues are able to get the live stream on their PC but I can not get it mine. It says connecting to media then stops and nothing happens. I have tried almost everything but I just can't get it to work. I am running XP Pro SP2 with Windows Media Player 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. So I installed the codec and it still does not work. I get some sort of networking error about the file not being at its proper location. Sorry I can't remeber the exact error message. Any other suggestions?

What codec did you install? I was just recently made aware of a fabulous codec pack that will allow you to play most thing. type in K-lite in google and download the k-lite codec bundle

Can it be that the network administrator is blocking all video streaming and colleagues are using some sort of back door to access online videos?
