This soon to be released 100% free MMORPG is giving away free keys for the beta test in August. There's about 2200 left if you want one http://www.perfectworld.com/ There's a link one page for the signup.
Graphically is looks quite similar to WoW and it's free to play so I will definitely be taking a look.

yeah, doesn't look special at all (and not similar to wow either)
and *free* may sound good, but it basically just means that it has very low production values.
no really good mmo will ever be free.
but thanks for the heads up anyway, I'm sure some people are bored enough or cheap enough to play this.

I don't. That was just in response to the OP who said it looks similar to WoW, and I don't see any similarities in art direction or technology of the graphics.

Which is apparently not open to people in Korea.. it won't let me sign up. Says it is disabled in my region.

Since the topic is about a MMORPG I have a question. I'm fucking bored out of my mind and considering playing Tabula Rasa or Vanguard since I never tried those before. Should I give them a try or are they just not worth it?

Why the hell do korean MMOs or just RPGs look all the same. Weapons of every kind is three times larger than the person itself and always the female characters are big breasted and ALWAYS if u wear full armor the male char is covered but on female charr u see butt cheeks and breasts. Usually the games are utter BS cause its a major grindfest and a quest comes along every 1000 level...

Tabula Rasa sucks from what i heard. no content updates etc.
vanguard i ordered two weeks ago, as i heard its pretty nice after all the updates.
it is very nice. but i only played till level 12, because it seems so dead playerwise.

My wife tried perfect world and she likes it... so basically that means avoid it at all costs! But seriously I watched her play it and it didn't interest me at all.

This is a chinese game, so why don't you find a Korean game thread and ask about it?
Appears to be a Malaysia specific english page.
I can also access the sign up on this one, but they want my passport number.

I played the Malaysian version. They had a english-translated client but the servers was in Malaysia which of course made the game lag like hell. But it's not really a bad game. It has some good things like RvR PVP and also insteed of grinding it has alot of quests to do. The graphics are so and so, but after all it's a free game so....
btw, when I say "not a bad game"...I mean if you compare to other free mmorpgs. This one actually stands out and is not a grindfest like all others.

I signed up, and played it fine.
I dint notice any bad lagging either.
U can choose 2 servers while ingame (Deplhi or Oracle) or atleast i think those are two different servers to play on.
It looks pretty good,
But not really my genre of game tho.

Do you know if the servers are on another places then Malaysia now? I thought the game was rather fun, just it was lagging horribly because of the server placement. Like 2-3 sec interuptment when using a skill etc. With this "worldwide" release they probably have more and better servers.

I think its just malay, not sure but ping shows 300.
however i was using Oracle.
Lag aint that bad, good playable
