some games work. some don't. 2d games are awesome. others not so much. a lot of games require accellerorormeter for gameplay

They don't. Gamecube emulation has been worked on for almost a decade and since Wii is basically a pimped Gamecube they used their Gamecube knowledge to write this.
If you want to see a fast developed and useable emulator, take a look at Connectix Virtual Gamestation.

CVGS was a fantastic emulator! I remember when that came out and I was blown away by how compatible and fast it was (especially compared to the piece of shit Bleem! which crashed constantly and had horrid compatibility)
Until ePSXe became more stable, VGS was my emulator of choice.

on a mouse
you can use a wiimote as mouse on a mac and i think pc as well if you have the right drivers...

Yup, you can map the Wiimote and A+B buttons to mouse (other buttons too, like Home/Select if you've got the extra mouse buttons) and you can map the nunchuk to an analogue stick on joypad or a keyboard, if you want. Of course the ideal situation is to just use a Bluetooth adaptor and a real Wiimote, but meh
Oh and the Classic Controller can be fully mapped to keyboard or a real controller too.
Playing FFIV The After Years is just epic I also tried out RE-Darkside Chronicles this morning, it'd be 100% if I had a faster proc, but as it stands it averages around 75-80% speed - sometimes 100%, sometimes 50%, depending on the amount of enemies on screen. There's a ton of Wii/GC games that are perfectly playable, full speed and/or minimal glitches.

it does | awesome, just downloaded the new 5007 version of Dolphin, and it seems like it couldn't be simpler. Download ISO, and check if it works. And btw, http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.24583 |
rofl I got the same also get 1 of those sensor bars... you can make them yourself. But I am way to lazy to do that haha.

tried the 5007 version and it works batter, these emulators need tons of tweaking to set it to optimum settings. my major problem right now is setting up the controls, what a pain in the ass this is.

I cant seem to load my saved games, each time I try it tells me "Wiimote 1 has been disconnected by system. Maybe this game doesn't support multi-wiimote, or maybe it is due to idle time out or other reason. Do you want to reconnect immediately?"
anyone else having this problem?

They are official, they're just not FINAL. Each of these releases are SVN (nightly source compiles) since Dolphin is an open-source project.

They do on the main homepage mate =)

Right-hand side of the page. Most SVN compiles are just a single change, and often it's a change that breaks a lot of stuff, but that's the way it goes with open source stuff - especially emulators.
