He used to be, but I think he lost all respect when that guy died on his show. Plus he also got all high and mighty saying that there should be a two tier car licence system. He said that people who want to drive sports cars get a higher licence based upon a harder system to control.

I never heard anything about any of that. Some guy died on his show?! I assume that was never aired! lol. The higher licence idea seems like quite a good one to me but I can see how people would oppose that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Late,_Late_Breakfast_Show#Accidents
Quote:
The death of Michael Lush

On November 13, 1986, self-employed hod carrier Michael Lush was killed during his first rehearsal for another live stunt. The stunt, called "Hang 'em High", involved bungee jumping from an exploding box suspended from a 120ft-high crane. The carabiner clip attaching his bungee rope to the crane sprang loose from its eyebolt during the jump. He died instantly of multiple injuries, and the Breakfast Show was scrapped on 15 November after Edmonds resigned.

Nah I think the licence is an elitist idea. He seemed to me that he was saying to everyone, "hey I can afford a flash car so my licence should reflect that".

lol I still watch it everyday. bout 5 times a day. 2:30pm, 3:00pm, 7:00pm, 10:00pm and 10:30pm Smile
And usually they are all different ones. They are on numerous chans too. If i didnt have so many channels, i wouldnt be able to watch so much

It sucks tho, only 2 or 3 channels carry star trek (voyager, tng, original and enterprise and sometimes ds9).
Same goes for stargate, tho I have all the stargate episodes anyway

It is on a few. I ripped season 2 disks 1-5. I can't be bothered with the rest. Gotta give it back tomorrow. I had a few others ones to do so I kinda sat on this one too long. Haven't actually burned them yet. RCE problems but I think I fixed it.
