Doesn't MS already have a HDMI cable? One side HDMI and the other side the humongous connector for the XBox? I see you're living in the NL, should be €30 in MM.

I believe I saw it, it was an original MS cable. I didn't take a good look at it, but it said "Xbox360 HDMI cable" on the package.
edit: scratch that, it doesn't work with non-HDMI Xbox360 consoles. Apparently the big connector is for audio, you'll still need a HDMI output. It was this cable I saw, was 30 bucks though in MM: http://www.xboxhome.nl/products/alle-hardware/xbox-360-hdmi-kabel.htm
Sorry for getting your hopes up.

Erm... All 360s made now have an HDMI port in the back don't they?
I'm positive the elite and 20gb Pro (premium's re-release) has one.

As far as I understand the old 360's only have component out because that's the way they were built. The new 360's (elites at least) however are built with HDMI in mind.
So it's not possible to get an actual digital signal it's only analog going through HDMI.
