Generally, from the interviews we do anyway, it'll be the usual questions such as are you into games, what systems do you own, why do you want to work for us, what do you want to get out of working for us (they love people who want to progress through the company) They'll usually be a tiny bit of roleplaying where you have to try and sell something to them such as a accessory or whatever is to hand at the time.

You could mention off-handedly that you know the game industry very well and that you follow game releases on websites such as gamespot or whatever is cool nowadays. That way you get a feel for what game is going to be a hit. DON'T mention nforce! And if the questions start to go in the direction then your official stand is 'Piracy is bad, mkay'.

Thanks for that Skaven. Could give me a good idea of what to expect and the difference between whether I get the job or not! Although if I was asked to try and sell something, I might be struggling. Im sure they would offer some form of basic training and show me the ropes etc.

lol thanks. I dont bother with PC games these days. Not since my PC went out of date and I got an Xbox360 anyway. CD keys are of no use to me. Smile

Actually I think Game keeps their products out of the cases. Never heard of Chip though.

I attended the interview on Friday. Went well I thought. Didnt get asked to try and sell anything but he was impressed with my knowledge of the company as I had done my homework beforehand! Anyway he said he would let me know either Tuesday or Wednesday whether I was successful or not. I got a phonecall half an hour ago and I got the job! Well a 3 month trial which is to start Monday 9th June! May the NFOrce be with you always.
