Today thq announced that this game will be released to pc this october.
Ι dont know anything about this game,from screens it seems like gta clone.Is it so good?

yeah.........they'r desperate..................because all the people that have consoles buy'd GTA4...........and i gues they think till GTA4 comes for PC(if it comes) they'l make some fuckin cash.....and by the way,i think that stupid dope head(that appears in the comercials in Saints Row)...........scared the fuck out of the people................just that laf make's you put a bullet in his head!

Have you guys played the original? It has frame issues, but it still has a certain gameplay that GTA lacks. Hopefully they'll do a Steam release to make it easy to buy.

Uh, no. It sounds like good business sense, to have your product on as many platforms as possible.
The original sold nearly 2 million copies, so it's not like the series is in "desperate" shape.

Again, what is "desperate" about expanding the market for an already highly-successful game/series? Your understanding of the videogame business appears to be fairly underdeveloped.
And I take it you've played it, somehow? Cause if not, you shouldn't be judging it...

Wow, a decent gta-experience on pc again? Color me enthused.
And again I am shocked at how many haters out there. Really you guys should try the original instead of bashing it without having even tried it. Small-scaled? Wtf. It was at least as large a map as gta4, with the second being bigger. Oh well, I guess I should feel sorry for a group of ppl who are so closed minded they can only focus on one game. A shame, really.

I really enjoyed Saints Row on the 360, glad to hear the sequel is coming soon .. but I'm ASTOUNDED to hear it's coming for the PC. That's a turn-up for the books ^_^

Played the original on the 360, and I don't really see where the hate is coming from. Granted I'm not a fan of the 'gangsta' style, but it was still a pretty well designed game.

The more we go into the current generation of consoles' lifetime, the more ports we'll see. Moreover, the older the consoles get, the more games you'll see for the PC. It's natural. Same happened with last generation, and I think the generation before that (PS1, N64, DC).
