Quote:
No Trace is a top down stealth action shooter being developed in Unity 5 and will be releasing on PC. No Trace is a modern, indie take on the classic hardcore stealth genre, focusing on assassination, infiltration and espionage style gameplay.

Inspired by stealth action games such as Hitman, Syndiacte and Volume as well as actions games such as Hotline Miami.

No Trace will immerse you in highly detailed stylized environments full of creative and deadly opportunities to complete your objectives. It offers you a tailored experience, allowing you to play the game how you want encouraging you to use a mixture of stealth and combat.

Features
  • A beautiful low poly art style
  • Art direction and top down camera combine to give a unique spin on the genre
  • Randomly generated NPC profile’s with randomly assigned traits make every playthrough unique
  • Inspection mode allows the player to pause time and scan the environment and plan the perfect approach
  • Precision gunplay
  • Disguise system
  • Distractions and hi-tech gadgets

Gameplay
Perform the perfect assassination in a vast array of locales from the Texas desert to Nordic mountains/valleys.
Learn about the many different target’s backgrounds and personality to exploit behavioral patterns and find the perfect time to strike.
Gather intel to aid your mission by eavesdropping on NPCs, and finding items of interest throughout the environment.
Take out guards and use their uniform to disguise yourself and gain access to otherwise restricted areas.
Disrupt enemy patrol paths by creating distractions and choose your moment wisely to pass through security like a shadow.
Infiltrate restricted areas by hacking door terminals and skilfully picking locks.
Take out the target any way you want, use the environment to set traps or efficiently despatch them at the first opportunity.
Use blood trails of deceased guards to distract your enemies or lure them into traps.
Once the job is done vanish without a trace or fight your way out.

History
Square Mountain is an independent game developer founded in 2015 after having met at University. Our ambition is to create challenging and engaging experiences that are both beautiful and immersive. We started work on our first title, No Trace in September 2015 and plan to release it in Q4 2016.

Gameplay seems to be very good.

Just some annoyances i noticed quickly:
- Unity: Vomit Performance looked not so good in the videos.
- In the "Knock out and diguse" video near the end when you carry a body: There is no grabbing animation at all. The body just floats under the characters butt.
- Motion Blur in an isometric game:
Are You Serious

// Also will it come on Steam?
