Don't expect it to be that scary tho...
Its not a horror movie, but a VERY good example of a Suspense Mindfucking Thriller.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Yeah. Now people think you need to jump to be scared. That's why there so many jump scenes in "horror" movies these days. That's what they rely on.

so true Sad

a woman walks in a dark hallway
the door creeks
she looks behind
and BOOM
a man with a knife cuts her throat

-scary to kids Razz-

a woman walks in a dark hallways
the door creeks
she looks behind
nothing is there
she keeps walking
the door opens an a high pitched scream is heard
she looks behind and there is still nothing there
she keeps walking she reaches her door and as she opens it
someone comes from behind here and grabs her
she wakes up next day in a confined room...

the lights turn on and she finds out she's in a tomb and boom she's dead

-not so scary-

if done right that both could be darn scary Razz but it all depends if they want to sell the movie to the minors or adults... minors are the majority and adults have jobs andcan't go to movies all the tim so... jump in your face horror rated pg13 is FAMOUS!

jump in your face scary isn't scary!

that's like clickin a google.com link that leads you tub girl you'll get scared

or those flash things... those are jump in your face horror! you seen one you've seen them all... you know when to expect what... fuck that shit...

seeing it at a real theater of course you'll be scared... you got 48 speakers, one big screen and it's dark... the atmospehre is set all you need now is something on the screen to jump out at you...

scary!

a good horror movie keeps you haunted for nights... not one night... oh god did you see how that scary part happened i was soooo scared! saw was terrifing because of the realism it had... the character development... and all that bull shit you want to see in a decent movie... it had a few jump in your face moments but the whole story the whole thing... that's freaky! Scary even... grudge isn't a horror movie... that's like saying the american version of the ring was the best horror movie of the year it came out... like what the fuck!

and no... you show the original dawn of the dead or evil dead to a 14/15 year old they will laugh at the corny special f/x!

28 days later is a perfect example of a decent zombie-ish movie! Razz

28 days was a joke. They are running away from zombies and then... hey lets go shopping , WOOT!
WTF ?! this movie had the same acting as in "Children Of The Living Dead" or maybe worse.
There is no scary movie that will keep u scared for nights and shit. Grudge did it only for like 1 night.
Saw wasn't a horror movie. Just a memoriable Thriller. a VERY good Thriller. but nothing more, it didnt keep u scared for days and shit.
Tell me 1 movie that was scary and that would keep u scared for nights and nights.

Since I have grown, I rarely get bothered by so-called "scary movies". Instead I look for what I best can describe as 'the bothersome' ones. You know, the sort of movies that aren't a blatant attempt to use Hollywood cheap-trick schisms to "fool you" into feeling scared, but the ones that use intelligent plotbuilding and creative expressionism when it comes to making you feel ... well, shall we say positively nauseated?

When it comes to this branch of "entertainment", I am a man who thinks in the lines of H.P. Lovecraft. Now, that man new something about human fear. He really knew how to twist ones desires, ones emotions, using the fear of the unknown in a deeper, more developed way - of convincingly sweeping you off your feet.

Read some of his works, and you'll start noticing how the walls come creeping a bit closer... you see, true... inspirational fear comes not from telling the obvious (like showing images of monsters, or ripped out guts, vomiting young children, and "HA!"-effects from monsters hopping out of the place you least expect them to) - inspirational fear comes from not telling, it comes from implications, subtle nuances, it comes from not needing to show what you should fear. Because that really dispels it (at least for me) ... when I've seen an alien, I won't be frightened by it... it's too "fake", sort of.

The only two movies I've seen that has managed to create something at least near this are: EVENT HORIZON, and ALIEN (the original, first movie).

Fuck man event horizon was awesome!
Alien kicked its ass though Very Happy

Aliens wasn't bad either heck rosemary’s baby... the first omen...

i mean yeah fisk is right Very Happy

Horror is good when it's expressed by emotions not by cheap tricks... people want to feel scared not be told they are scared...

28 days later was awesome because it did provide a sense of fear...
Joyride was good there are a lot better horror flicks that succeed in truly scaring you

A perfect example of false and perfect jump in your face horror is in jeepers creepers. And if you seen it and understood it then you'll know what I’m talking about. Jeepers creepers was good Very Happy

THE Best Horror Movies in the Cinemas will be the ones that use the 3D Stereo Glasses (Or them 3D strange gray type colour lense ones) Smile...

Has Anyone been to Disney Land Paris and went into the 3D Cinema?? You get given these Glasses with Grey shaded lenses and wear them through the whole film. The Image ACTUALLY comes Right Up to your Face (We Were sitting on the Back row and this plane came flying from the Screen, Over all the rows of seats right up close to my face..

I cant wait untill Horror films / Action films start using that.. Imagine Star Wars Remade in 3D with them Laser gun shot beam things flying past your face Smile

In The Mouth Of Madness was really good so was Event Horizon. The Ring was also pretty cool. If u have not seen any of those give them a chance. If u want to be really grosed out try any of the Faces Of Death.

Are you out of your mind?

28 days later had shitty acting? had no character development? Are you mad? If anything 28 days later is a lot better than the remake of dawn of the dead in many ways! 1) acting! 2) visuals 3) character development 4) ACTING!

god!

"In 28 days later it looked like they are some lifeless losers who can't get wtf is happening..."

EXACTLY! no news reports NO NOTHING! THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK WAS HAPPENING! The main character knew nothing! the girl knew something but she wasn't open enough! the surviving family knew nothing! FUCK EVEN THE MILITARY KNEW NOTHING!

fuck! Did you even watch the movie or did you fast forward the boring parts and jsut watched the action sequences?

this movie was a love story! Not just a run of the mill zombie flick! It had character development and it was terrifing! comparing this movie to dawn of the dead is like comparing bubba ho tep to freddy vs jason!
