Hey guys,
I'd like to ask you guys how to make a network render on After Effects.
So I can render with multiple pc's (After Effect render is kinda really slow)
I searched google, But I did not find any good.
So maybe you guys know something of network rendering with After Effects.
Many Thanks.
Bas.

go through AE's own manual and adobe's forums
key with AE is optimization
put layers to draft quality and see if you can see the difference
most of the time you can't, and there are performance benefits there
cache repeative stuff and timestretch slow moving and heavy effects

Yeah I know, After effects is shit when you use any kind of blur effect..
If you do, It for just a slowly moving camera on a word that has blur.. just 15 sec.. 10 min render.. -.-' DOH!

you can optimize heavy basic blur by resizing the clip down and adding blur on that, and then bringing it back into your main comp and scale up to normal size
just remember to click the raster checkbox for the layer so that it rasters the image in between or you don't get any speedup
sorry i couldn't help with networking.. never tried it
moved over to fusion for effects work anyway
much more powerful for everything
