I am in my late 30's. I know Captain Cox is in his 30's as well. How many more are out there?
I have been doing the warez thing since the Commodore 64. How 'bout those other 30 somethings out there?

Been active since the C64, but my most active period by far was the amiga scene, made my own crack intro's and shit(and I was only 14 then), made walkthroughs for a number of games and my name can still be read in some magazines of 'CU Amiga'. Had about 5000 floppies at one point of another.

The first Pong game I had was just a wheel on a little cream box that plugged into the back of the TV. Must have been around 75 or 6. I mostly went for the arcade scene, Pole position, centipede, Arcanoid, Galaxian. I still get really nostalgic when I see a bar table game. you know the ones with ash trays on the sides. Lived in marina Bars as a kid. Smile

carax'95 Bio_100%, decent Galaxian clone.

Rescue from Space Invaders .. also worth a look. Wink

I remeber my friends having a TV Pong system. I love the arcades as well. I played this game at a local arcade. http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7541
The old man who used to babysit me took me to the arcade all the time cause he knew the Op .
They pulled that game cause it was to violent. If i remember correctly that was 75-76.

The Op of that arcade was named Cotton lol. Oh I feel my age

i knew some really great 13-14 year old couriers, so i wouldnt necessarily rule out the possibility, that the scene is all pimply faced 16 year olds, if you check the age median / mean for top-site users Very Happy

Naw, I am a web designer/illustrator.

I studied programming at college for a short time but it wasnt for me. I enjoy design much much better. I still wrote a few programs and small scripts, but nothin worth mentionning I guess.

I also still fool around every now and then in VB and C++.

Thanks. I think that was the one from my trip to NY. People are shocked when I tell them.

As a kid I had one of those Atari Clone consoles. Used to play some game about a fly and another one called "breakout". Later we got a nintendo. My cousin sold us some cartridge that had something like 140 games on it. Some were in Japaneese. He got into trouble with it and had to pay a huge fine.
