These towers remind me of the futuristic towers of Sim City 2000 for some reason... Smile Cool towers...

... But why do most names start with Dubai? Dubai Land Snow Dome, Dubai Marina, Dubai Old Town, Dubai Sports City... We get it, it's in Dubai! Rolling Eyes

It's not that amazing considering Dubai exploits foreign workers like slaves and routinely violates their human rights. Anyone could build towers like that if they had labour that only cost 2 cents per hour Rolling Eyes

United Arab Emirates have enough money to afford workers for 100$ per hour so i doubt that cheap labour is the main reason for those project. Rolling Eyes

Current salary for foreign workers is about $1.50 an hour, changing that to $100 would cost about $980 trillion a year.

They have a budget surplus of about $20 billion a year.

Most of the wages foreigners earn are sent back home, and are not used in the local economy.

So, UAE wouldn't stand a chance if they had to pay normal wages.
