so my dad has been pissed off about his ps3 since he got it, (january), blue screening when playing dvds, hanging on loads of games, now hanging on mgs4. so im pretty embaraased cos i reccomended it as a good blu ray player alternative, instead of just buying a standalone blu ray player, and he hasnt even been using it all these months cos of the bugs. so ps3's are faulty! lame i thought.
I searched around for some info on warranty service hoping to recitfy the situation, found the careline number, phoned up, waited. Expected a month to get a new one ala microsoft but was pleasantly surprised after a lengthy conversation to get a new one on thursday brought by courier and swapped for the faulty one on the spot. Hows that for customer service?!
So whilst slightly miffed the infallible ps3 has a whole heap of problems, there is a silver lining in the form of spotless customer service (so far)  ms could learn a thing or two about this.
