Try reading the existing thread about it instead.

The installer is 190MB, so obviously a 22byte text file with an .exe extension isn't going to do anything.

Seems to be a mistake, also seems the retail version of this editor will be released on wednesday.

Come to think of it do the editor have any purpose once the actual game is out?
(Perhaps EA made it a required program for creating creatures, makes sense as they have a limited 25% content trial/demo version and a full retail version.)

Theres two versions of the editor. One that is free and has only 25% of the options. Another with everything included for £4.99.

The "retail" creature creator will be released the 17th(apparently 16th for europeans)

When the game is out the editor will be pointless, it serves more as to create the community before the game launches.

Hm...I also preordered but haven't got that mail. Instead I got the one that says it will be released on the 16th. Is it only released earlier in the EU or they haven't informed us yet?
