Ok, as some of you may know I work in the ICT sector, I often meet new people, lots of people actually, hundreds upon hundreds, all of them with one problem or another. So a few days ago I had a woman with a software issue(which in the end I solved). So now today a few days later my boss calls me apart and says that he received a complaint about me from this woman.
Apparently this fucking cunt went to her manager to complain about me cuz I worked too slow in her eyes. What the fucking bitch failed to mention was that she had me fix more problems then for what I was initially called for. I fixed the problem I was called for in about 20min time, which is very much acceptable and good. Then after I had fixed that I had to fix a problem with her outlook, spelling, another program, another version of outlook, and some other shit too.
So basically this cunt went behind my back just cuz I was so friendly to help her fix the shit that didn't even need fixing(cuz every problem has to be handled under a different header). You alot a certain amount of time for problem x, then bitch calls helpdesk, helpdesk can't fix it so they call upon me, and you go fix problem y, and so forth. I fixed a shitload of unasked shit and still she stabs me in the back??
And the kicker of the story, my boss even took her side, I fix so many shit for sooo many people, noone ever complains, you get one complaint and I am in the fucking wrong here, WTF, if my boss had half a brain he would draw the conclusion that its not me in the wrong here but this fucking stuckup cunt who probably ain't getting cock anymore and is so frustrated because of it that she has to resort to bitchy tactics to get her kicks in life, whatever floats y'er boat eh.

i d say, that perhaps you did all your fixing, but she didn't like the way you interacted with her and went behind your back, because of that?
Some people dont like to be in the wrong - or to have problems they cant solve themselves - and think of technicians as the bad guys, who are there to fix the shit asap, because they somehow feel entitled to getting all their shit fixed promptly and devoutly.
The only thing you can do about those (when you notice that they are asshole-personalities) is to be extra nice and tell them that you re supposed to go, when you finished your initial job. Then, if they have other problems, tell them, that they should get send out another request to the helpdesk, because that is the formal way to do it and you cant do anything about it. Especially if you ever have to help that woman again

I will never ever help that woman again, and I am allways on my best behaviour, highly friendly even against the more difficult clients. So it was just her problem really, she was a stuckup cunt and now every time I see a problem of hers I'll just ignore it, just let my other collageaus handle it. That office is now off limits for me:)

I agree with this. A lot of times you get screwed by doing extra for people. Best thing you can do is explain to your boss that you went above and beyond in terms of helping her hence the longer call time. Basically if you have less complaints then your peers it shows there is not a problem and it gives you credit.
I had a women, very healthy compplain that I hurt her when I took her blood during my practicum which I know I didn't. She didn't even tence up, sure sign. Plus I know I was good, I did my fellow classmates and stuff. You can just tell by the way the needle goes in. I didn't have to change tubes. By the way she went on after you would of thought I was trying to murder her. I bet she was like that with everything in her life. She was cuckoo.
If it is your job you HAVE to HELP her. Just get in and get the one thing done and send her on to the next. Don't let her know anything is wrong. nicey nicey Oh and make personal notes after as to what you did for record in case she screws you again. Be totally professional.

Welcome back Juba, and I don't need to defend myself, I give support for over 1500 people, all like me very much, especially the women, so I think I will just carry on the way I was doing thnx.

Piemel , mind me asking where you work ? dont need a name but more like ... if you work as an IT guy in a company , or get detached from the outside , or if you basicly just drive around to clients...
Reason i ask is i completed a 6 month course with cisco , windows server , linux , all the admins tools etc... been looking at vacatures and all i can seem to find is IT based companies going around to build infrastructures and maintain them, not interested in junior IT guys with no experience , also i would need to drive to brussels etc everyday.
Same with detachering, where its very likely i will be put in brussels or leuven.Or even working night shift in the weekend watching servers...which even my mom could do.
So whats left is working for a companie's own IT department , but where i live ( antwerpse kempen ) there doesnt seem anything around big enough with its own IT department, again no work experience seems the biggest factor to them.While i feel i know enough to do level2-3 support in short time.
But when i hear those "horror" stories it reminds me when i try to make some cash building/fixing computers for ppl , i do a great job at half the price cleaning and setting up old ladies computers, but its like you wrote an invisible contract with them once you fixed something for them , getting calls middle of the night to help out with a problem etc...
Basicly i dont know if i still want to go into the IT sector, spend 2 years on a bachelor degree programming , wasnt my thing at all(even though better money) and i hoped with this 6 month course which was networking focused that i would have a better chance in the "we look for 14000 ppl" sector.
I could have send you this in a PM in dutch but it might be helpful to others too.

I think the key is that you balance out the trouble shooting and what your job and bosses expectations are. They hired you to fix IT problems following a standard procedure. From your post it doesn't sound like they had a problem with your work, just that you got a complaint. Everybody gets complaints, it is how you handle that complaint that will be remembered on your job review. Right now you are pissed she complained, you are calling her a cunt and a bitch. I think the best way to handle is to act a bit dumbfounded she complained. "really? she complained? Over what? Wow, I even went above and beyond?" Then ask your boss, "what do you think I could of done differently?" then you listen to what they have to say. (bosses love that) Then you just agree with whatever you boss has to say. "that a good suggestion, I am going to work on that" and exit with a positive attitude and a smile. It shows you understand 'constructive critism'
You can't think of changing some of your ways as being a sell out. It is just playing the work game. At the end of the day a job is a paycheck so you can go off and live your real life.
ps I also understand how difficult it can be to understand the issue when the person you are talking to is a moron who can't explain themselves. It can be like pulling teeth to get them to explain.

Well pistol, you are right when you say that I should have just nodded against my boss, cuz the sole reason he believed the word of this cunt over mine is not because of this cunt but because of the manager of this cunt, she pulls some weight around there and is considered the prime queen of bitches(she runs around there acting like she's worth 100 million dollars, and that everyone just has to drop rose petals whereever she walks). And ofcourse me knowing myself, I didn't comply with my boss, I defended my own values cuz I just knew I was right, right in every fiber of my body. And should you accept constructive criticism when there's no need for it, I don't need that shit cuz I did my job properly like I allways do.

If you read his first post it isn't really because he fixed too many things but because she said he was too slow. I bet if he didn't fix it all she would of complained about that too, Or if he was super speedy she would of complained he didn't take the time to do it right or some bullshit.
Sounds like she is the type that complains about everything. I bet his boss secretly hates her too but doesn't have the energy to fight her or her boss.
When I was working in a office (I was doing underwritting for an insurance co) I always found out which boss appreciated the extra and do the extra for them. Then they would be on my side. (I am sneaky) I had the worlds worst boss in the office who did nothing but fuck the people under him. I was always the one that the branch manager always went to when he needed something done fast and he treated me like gold. Then he got transfered and I was at the mercy of the bad boss. I quite shortly after.

PS : my boss did admit that there's allways 2-3% that is like this and that I should have handled it differently, but thats still sticking up for the cunt and not for his own employee. I have learned in life that no matter how good you are to others people will still treat you like shit. Upload some really nasty shit to her computer and maybe some illegal shit too. Then one day cause a minor problem with her computer through the trojan and then go to fix it when she calls for help. Delete all traces of the trojan and then "accidently" find her sick shit and quickly go and report it to the closest manager. Watch her get canned.

I think Pfiemelcheese is right though. Women can very easily become jealous of other women. In this case it would be age and sexual attraction if Pfiemelcheese didn't treat her the same with a flirting vibe then she could have taken it as a insult and hurt her self esteem.
Honestly it must be hard for women in our current society as it doesn't follow instincts at all for them. Men continue to still compete for a woman over flexing of muscles and showing other goods while women in the past didn't have to do a little courtship dance men would simply flock to them and try to impress. Now its a bit different because men are demanded to be monogamous to one woman its become harder for women to snatch up the cream of the crop for mating with males because they tend to be already taken and this process has also made males more picky on the mates they choose rather just mating with whatever woman they can get. Sure monogamy has been around for quite some time but it isn't actually natural for humans and is still rather new compared to our species existence.
So now women have grown to be jealous creatures who constantly compete mostly with looks and such. Look at the makeup industry and have much it has grown. Fashion and other things are great examples on how women now have to do a little dance for men just to get our attention.. This leaves the older and the not so beautiful having problems finding a mates and makes them become bitter.

Men very easily become jealous of other men, we just show it differently. How many times do men fight over women? Every night when I go out I see more men fighting about women, than women fighting over men.
Monogamy isn't new at all. Not even a little bit, it's been practised for 1000's of years
not always followed, there were and always will be cheaters, but it's fact.
The make up and fashion industry is growing even more rapidly for men, when I was a kid there was literally no make up targeted at men, now their is. Men's clothes and fashion weren't a big deal, now you have selection that could almost rival a womans.
Men and women have to compete harder these days, this is due to expectations being higher on both sides. fact is when people decide they want to be happy they will have an easier time finding a mate. The criteria in which humans are competing isn't real, money doesn't make happiness, neither does being the best looking, or being the most connected (influencial, etc)
