I hope it's another adventure game and not some faggy Star Wars TIE Fighter. I want Grim Fandango, but it doesn't really need a re-release just yet because it's not even that old. What it needs is a sequel!
C2D E6750 @ 3.2Ghz, 4GB 800MHz DDR2 4-4-4-12, GeForce GTX 260 c216 OC 896MB, 3.2TB, Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Xbox 360 Elite, PS2 Slim, Xbox

I would love to see Tie-fighter but I doubt it, probably another adventure game which is great too don't get me wrong but we've seen MI remake and it works and looks great, I am very interested how would an old 3d game remade look like and 3d in space those are kind of lacking last one was X3 Terran.
Full Throttle and Grim Fandango are stupid guesses, those game look great even today and they don't need a remake, more likely it's MI2 which was hinted at the end of MI.
Maybe I would say Loom if it wasn't released on steam already but it's not a remake, it's weird some games get a boost and some don't.

The Dig, please let it be that one, its still one of my favorites as i really loved the atmosphere and the artwork of that game and i think it would look great with an updated look like they did with monkey island.
I agree with glottis, Grim Fandango doesn't really need to be redone as IMO it still holds up pretty well even by today's standards. I know it wont be a space sim like Tie Fighter or X-wing Alliance or anything like that but it would be weird as i actually just bought Tie Fighter Collectors edition off ebay for about $2 a couple of weeks ago.
I'm not a bad influence, i say the world's already f***** i'm just adding to it.

Indy was already released on steam (not a remake) so that's not it.

i think thered be trouble with franchise/copyright BS if it was indy, so i doubt its anything like that, unless fate of atlantis, which also i think doesnt need to be redone

No, they wouldn't release the same game twice, remake or no it's the same game. Loom was also released.

Why do you believe that? Indiana Jones franchise was created and is owned by George Lucas. Lucasarts is a subsidiary of Lucasfilm, which is founded by George Lucas...

As part of a follow-up interview with LucasArts president Darrel Rodriguez about plans for the months ahead, I asked Rodriguez for thoughts on a return of the company's lauded X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim series.
His answer?
"We don’t have any announcements now, but stay tuned," said Rodriguez. "We will soon….." |
Hope that guy isn't just teasing, would be the best thing LA has come up with in years.

Just the thought of a Tie Fighter remake.. I won't even think about it I will only end up disappointed, TF is one of the best space sims ever made, that sound when another tie fighter passes you by, even the menus were brilliantly done from animations to sound, just like Doom people play TF to this day.

I wouldn't, but thatas only because I didn't play the first, am I missing out? Having said that I got tired of puzzle adventure games about 3 years ago, but I reckon I could manage zak all over again.
