I just got home from Beijing, and i would like to somewhat keep up my chinese characters and still chat with some chinese friends i got over there.

So anyone know of a program where i can type in pinyin, normal letters, and it automatically translate it to characters ?

Windows should be able to do that. I only checked japanese though Smile. Did you know that or do you need some instructions?
Check the regional and language in the control of windows, its all there.

this is for Cantonese pinyin, there a chart for the character too. Not sure if there one for Mandarin
