Alright, it's out!
Code: |
Ba'al travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from being started. SG-1 must somehow restore history.
|
The release : Stargate Continuum 2008 DVDRip XviD-V4D3R
If i've understood this correctly the release is not a scene release so it might not be out everywhere yet, have fun watching it.

weeeeeeeee usually hate unknown group releases because they tend to be uncropped shitty releases with no ivtc and incorrect AR's, but what the hell, ill try n find it and give it a shot.
also, why call it leaked? every films dvdrip gets released before its release date, so calling it 'leaked' is kinda redundant, no? its not like its out 6 months before street..

That sucked
Spectacular fairytale, 6/10.
Good:
Battles by time machine and over Atlantic - I went WOO on each of them
Bad:
Inconsistencies, some minor some fatal ones.
Mitchell looks the same when he's 40, 50 and 70, only hair colour changes and beard grows up.

weak, rushed and clichéd storyline. Timetravel at its worst.

It realy went bad at one point. It would be better if they just had contacted the asgard. Why did they not mentioned them?

Asgard*
And how the hell are they supposed to contact them if they have been long wiped by replicators?

but in stargate, time travel has already been used a zillion times in every unimaginable situation, so, it's kinda of an overexplored subject.

Yeah, it was good but could've been better. Especially after all the hype that was built up.
Expected a 10/10 but it only was an 8. I prefer Ark of Truth over Continuum.

i cant believe your actually debating how time travel is handled in a sci-fi action film, and pointing out how silly it is... honestly, thats even more silly than how the film handles time travel itself!!

Time travel per se hasn't been ruled out by science, just that the way these movies interperate how those might work and the consequences associated with time travel is just silly at best and it hurt to watch those..

You're right there but I couldn't think of anything else to discuss about this film. You got anything?
I hope this was the last of these films they make and focus on Atlantis.

only point i was trying to make, is that theres many worse examples of timetravel in films, and its at a point where i think its better if they just have fun with it, rather than trying to make it plausible, because we are ALWAYS going to find faults in it... so why not ignore it all and just go for it?

Pretty horrible movie. Was barely like an average Stargate SG-1 episode, which is bad.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

The problem with this series is that they never dared to do something new with it, and got stuck with the original cast. They should've followed another team alltogether (eg. SG-6) and let the original SG-1 team stay on as guest stars.
It's as if you let the original crew of TNG play in DS9 and Voyager as well... it gets too watered out.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.
