Introduction

My name is Chase. I am 2 years and 3 months old. When I was 3-6 weeks old, in June 2005, I was hit by a car and left in the road. A young man heard my cries after a few days and came to my rescue. He brought me to the Chevy Chase Animal Clinic and gave the doctors some money to do what they could for me and hopefully find me a home. A new vet tech, Melissa, was working there. The doctors informed her she would get to care for me. She took me in and would take me home at night and on weekends to give me extra care that I needed while I recovered. I ended up having a back leg amputated and over the summer my nose and, eyelids, and skin from my face sloughed off from the trauma of the accident. The wonderful doctors sent me and Melissa to the University of Tenn Vet Hospital for 2 rounds of plastic surgery. Unfortunately neither attempt was successful. I would have to live looking different than my other kitty friends. I adjusted fast and even though I don't have eyelids I can still sleep just fine but I prefer to go to a dark room or under the bed. My caretaker, Melissa, ended up switching jobs and then relocating to a different state. I happily have become her "baby" and she takes care of me still to this day as a member of her family. I need a bit of special attention to keep my eyes in good shape. I get artificial tears applied to them 3-4 times daily, as well as antibiotic drops and steroid drops as needed. I have GREAT vision and love to catch flies and crickets! My face looks pink but it is just tissue and the fur will never grow back. I am NOT IN ANY PAIN! I am a very loving and friendly cat. I love to meet new dogs and cats and really like to lick them. This got me in trouble when I was a clinic cat at the vet's office. Not all the dogs wanted to meet me. But often I would curl up with the sick animals in their cages and keep them company.
This is just an introduction to me and my family. I will try to keep you posted in my daily obsticles and fun filled days as often as possible.
Love and Meows,
Chase the cat

my new kitten went missing the other day, sadly. I don't think i'll ever see him again :/ shame really because that's the second time this has happened. I guess that's what you get for living near a Wood.

Sure, but other cats will go like "FREAK" don't come near me "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"
Na, but you are right, just that cat's are not supposed to look like something out of Hellboy, but sure, if you love an animal then nothing will change.

I had a Blue Persian when I lived back in SWE, one morning a big ladder fell on her back leg (we had been renovating). The vet said that it was almost impossible to save her leg (cat legs are pretty complicated/delicate things)
anyho, I said DO IT AT ANY COST!...had to borrow money from my mom, and it was expensive, can't remember now how much but something like 1000€. The vet did a super job and you never saw that the back leg was literally cut in half (only the skin held it together).

Meh, that's freaky...
But as long as there is no pain and suffering... (probably a lot 'ewwwww' and 'iieeehhh' though) it's ok.

Long time ago i spotted a cat that had no mouth.
The whole mouth area was gone, like a big black hole.... very sad.
apparently he was hit by a car, these pics reminded me of that cat Sad

I thought that was a photoshop and a joke cat. If the vet thinks the cat can live like that without pain and a good life then fine by me. If it was mine I would still love it cuz it was mine.

I've called someone a cunt before and I've immediately edited it. Sometimes after you see something in writing you realize it's inappropriate (with the exception being that if I'm drunk nothing is inappropriate Razz)

srly though, you guys need to lay off Jenni a bit Wink Then go watch these two movies while we're on the topic of immigration and England...

i have been receiving threats of permananent bans from her now she is following my posts and can get away with calling me insults when i have not once insulted her nor do i wish to. I will not retaliate but im just pointing out that i am being targeted by her now. She claims I have some sort of vendetta against her, yet she is the one posting abusive messages about me and trying to get some sort of reaction through threatening pms.

I doubt it, I hardly ever perm ban.
Besides if you'd edited it I may not of caught it. As Nouse said people say things in the heat of the moment. And I meant what I said via PM.

I don't like you, I think you're beyond contempt and I wish I never agreed on letting you back.

Ahh well Juba we all learn by our mistakes. I'm sure soon you'll annoy some mod or another and that ban just may be perm.
