Maybe where you live fit people don't go to bars. Try a gym or settle for watching beer commercials and the waitress at the bars.

Why is it people think that if fat people stopped eating so much somehow anyone starving in Africa would suddenly get food?

My parents always used that line when I didn't finish dinner. "there are people starving in Africa you know" What were they going to do? Box up the leftovers and mail it off.

I think your very petty frno. While I don't find overweight women to be very attractive I don't care if they are around me. So what if there were a bunch of them there anyways? If they weren't it wouldn't mean any extra skinny girls would be. I bet your not to good looking yourself anyways.

To me there's obese, there's fat and there's beautiful fat, women that have nice curves and hips are fucking nicelooking, but I am talking about european fat where this would be considered anorexic in the US, so I might be biased:)

While obese people are generally not found attractive, it is a moot point. You are being a biggot. Obese people have the same rights as non obese people, they have the right to the pursuit of happiness. If these women think they are beautiful it is their choice to do so, why is your personal opinion greater than theirs? Sadly my friend the world is not about you, it is about all of us.

^^^ That's a very harsh substitution although I agree that the op is being a bitch but atleast he's in the right section. Furthermore, it's not as if he's the only one who is prejudiced against overweight people. He's just being open about it.

I think that the overweight people have no one but themselves to blame, it just shows that they can't control themselves. It just shows that they have weak character.
And if you know that you have metabolism problems you can have good life if you control what you are eating. It is able to enjoy the food without stuffing it in yourself like animal...
On the other hand they are people too, and have all the rights, just like any other, so they can go wherever they want, do whatever they want. There are many people who think that they shouldn't be allowed to go out, but like Martian vividly said, that's kinda rasistic...

What most fat people don't understand is the importance of
a)Weight training
b)6 smaller meals a day
If you go on a 1200-kcal diet you're probably going to lose weight (fast), but it'll look flabby and you'll have excess skin. Now if you would eat a bit more but in smaller packages, spread throughout the day, you would rev up your metabolism and feel full all day, no need to empty the entire cookie jar. Women think weight training will get you big and bulky, but the only women that look like men are the ones on steroids, Miss Universe-type.
The risk of getting diabetes and other serious diseases is just too big, so I'm with kaeye here, no respect for fat people that whine about their fat and say they were born like that, some people are more susceptible to fat gain (genetically determined) but that's no excuse.
EDIT: And how ugly is gynecomastia (man boobs)? I just saw this guy on the beach that had enough boob material to fill a whole tub-o-lard

It is REALLY HARD for some women tho. Your friends can really fuck you up and you have to be a really strong person not to listen to them. It can get really fucked up. I can make a nice healthy sandwich for me and a friend. She wont eat it because there is butter (margerine) on it, or so she can taste. Sometimes no margerine either. Then the ride home she will stop at MacDonalds and eat a big mac and fries dipped in myo. WTF? And they are self rightous about not eating my sandwich too. They use me to make themselves feel better about themselves. If they hate what I am eating then fine but why put it and me down? They are always crit. what I choose to eat. If I was to follow everything they said and what I knew there would be NOTHING I could eat. I don't hang out with them anymore.
I think it helps when people get into relationships where both people are active. Just so you have someone to do things with.
