PETA is "doing lunch" at the gas station to let drivers know that the best thing that they can do for the environment is jettison their meat-based diets. Eating meat is a more environmentally harmful habit than driving an SUV.

They can't be that bad, free gas and bikkini girls for you guys. There are quite a few protest that involve nakidness for ethical animal treatment. Although I think spashing people with red paint is assault and crosses the line.
The overall idea for a movement to ensure that all animals are treated ethically correct is a wonderful one. However PETA has devolved into becoming a sort of Greenpeace on steroids and meth and now plunge in to the sea of ignorance and lack of proper focus on where their causes should lie.
They should NOT be with the regular hamburger-eating population. 95% of those people fully agree with PETA that it's a pretty lame idea to kill baby seals and polarbears in order to wear them as a coat. While I myself think the idea is retarded it is NOT the same as wearing a mink og bunny fur. These are farmed by the millions every year and the fact that these people wear them is just up to themselves. What is the harm here really?
PETA has shown an ugly face, in my opinion. They lack any sense of realism and have degressed into this mudslinging organisation who count thrashing celebrities in radioshows and online as victories. Seriously why the FUCK is it PETA's business that Jessica Simpsons eats cow? Who the fucking hell sees this as an unethical thing to besides those vegan-famined twats that run that place.

They don’t agree with any ‘farmed animal’ because the conditions of these animals are atrocious. Some of these farmed skin animals have their fur ripped off their bodies while still alive. It is still an industry that lacks true standards.
Without the pressure of peta and other animal right societies these industries would be 100 % profit and 0% ethics. These industrial farms do hurt people too, it is believed they cause athma with poor air quality, and they polute the water table and wells with urine and shit, making They decimate small communities in the states. They ruin the properies values of the small home owner.
Take free range chickens right? makes you think of happy chickens pecking away in the dirt but that is not the case. They are still debeaked, males are still thrown in chippers, given growth cocktails which deform their body which then end up in our kids. They are kept in a pen instead of a cage. Free range is a buzz word or the food industries spin doctering.
I like to think that they at the least keep some of these slaughterhouses following a higher standard and put pressure of the food industry to give more healthy and eco friendlychoices. For example, if more people order less meat from fast food chains that means less South American rainforests will be cut down in order to feed people cheap meat.

I am a meat eater and I do wear leather but I try to limit my use on animal products. I don’t care if peta decides to hold a demo with fake blood, I wound’t even have my kids look away. People are far too detached from the whole slaugher process so that we have lost respect for animals.
